Mt. Baldy Labor day swell

Forecast on this day(if my memory serves correct) was 30knt 10-15FT..There is no chance these pic could describe how big waves got on the outside,but you could get at least some idea ...There was very difficult,mean,headhigh shorepound just to get through to the outside.Some 15ft+ waves on the outside.


fyi.most pic are coming from great distance and from top of a dune.

The spot is near MC Adrien,,,Slavi pic is W to NW,the heavy powerzone is all the way to the east of that..There's small bay,which could give you some chance to get out from shore between sets rolling in.



I saw bigger waves than this on Lake Michigan,but never this thick.Top 5-6f of wave had that crumble egg crust look,ocen swell,magnificent view!

Casino,getting really dark,7m,washed all the way on the other side of beach,swimming.Miller,winter,12m,too much under lines,swimming.Michigan city,7m,twice..South Haven,completely annihilated,face down from lip,7m,20min brutal surf,death spiral ,.Holland,borrowed bar from Greg(short lines,upsss),first wave,kite loop,8m,swimming. List could go on and on,....

You swem out from hellzone,kudos!
