I'm a big proponent of nuclear power and I can tell you that the water pumped back in that lake was cleaner then when it came in. Any kind of core leak would be detected instantly.

Waukegan asbestos dump plant.....that's a much different story. They are on the verge of closing that beach down due to high asbestos counts. We even get more then trace amounts in Chicago from there. It's some of the most unclean water in lake Michigan.
