In the water that would have been a crazy rush with a almost painless wipe out. On the snow he probably broke something or bruised all over. You just can't throw down as you do on the water.

He came to a complete stop. Heart should have pendulumed stretching arteries. At least if he was landing on a downhill slope it should have been a lot better.
