Hey any of you people went to Granite Peak, WI? Is it worth the 4 hour drive?

it is when its not icy... otherwise its alright. The park is pretty nice but the little kids ruin the jumps in a day or so. Mt Bohemia has season passes on sale today for $100... its a steal of a deal... only problem is its about 5 hours from GB.

I went there 3 years ago and had a good time. It's a little better than Devils Head imo. They are the only two places in WI I have gone.

Heading there in January. Well we'll see how it is compared to Alpine valley and Wilmont.

They do a good job of grooming and have a nice high speed quad, they advertise 77 runs but in actuality only have 7. A third of the hill is a headwall and the remaining 2/3 is flat as a pancake. It might be fun for a day (quite expensive), but any more than a day you have to spend the overage in the bar. A better hill is marquette mountain but that would add another 2.5hr to the drive, however the ticket price is half what the peak scalps.

been there... not worth the drive IMO.
