Snow Kite

I"m out south, Dyer IN. I have one spot. Fri afternoon or sat- sun.

Hows the forecast looking for both days? I was considering Alpine valley but if we can get some snowkiting going

Fri afternoon looks like 17,sat sun 8mph, looks to be out of the west, I never snowkited, I plan to ride a 9 inflatable with skis, maybe 12m sat sun, not sure if this would be correct? hopefully snow will build and not drift.

On snow you generally ride a kite 2 meters smaller than you would on water.

In deeper snow you need more power. In slicker snow you need less power.

It is much easier to get overpowered sometimes on snow though so always stay safe and rig a little smaller in the wind in cranking.

Had my first flight or ride over 20min. had a blast, though I was alone, and no one to enjoy with, my wife still does'nt beleive I got up, rode the 12 meter for about a hour and half, camera going out next time!
