Grass Lake Sunday 1.22.12

hitting grass lake tomorrow, should be blowing pretty good tomorrow, graphs and temps look good. Called up one of the local bars, told me there's open water by the bridge as usual but the lake itself is frozen and there are sled tracks all over the place. They have about 4-6 inches, should be warming up a bit tomorrow so maybe some of it will pack on down. I'm going to give it a shot around 10 or so.

Went out to Northerly Island park today and the snow was looking a bit light... might make the drive up to join you tomorrow.

Where do you park? Is this the Grass Lake up north by Waukegan ??????

The wind forecast looks like about 10-15kt from the south, with gusts to 25kt (and freezing drizzle) as the day goes on.

We got good wind in kenosha on a field off the highway but snow was really bad and there was mounds of dirt that board would hit.
