The wind looks pretty good for Saturday all day long. Who wants to join? Ill be leaving Glenview really early trying to be at Grass lake around 8 - 8.30 ish

Edit 7.01 PM: Wondering if it is a good idea. Rain coming down now and tomorrow. Might become slushy at Grasslake. Any thoughts?

I dunno about the lakes down by you guys but up in wisconsin we had a fellow kiter fall through a lake recently. Fortunately he recovered unharmed but is pretty shook up from it. I know I'll be waiting for a big lake session since I've come to the conclusion winter is being half-assed... That or travel somewhere.

May be game if I don't go out late drinking Friday night. I foresee an involuntary swim... it's supposed to be 40 degrees again tomorrow and the ice will be thin.

Just got a PM of snowball Grass lake is 200% No Go!!!! Lets see where the wind will be and hit the water instead. Last weekend drove by Oshkosh Wisconsin, saw the ice fishers and all their stuff out. But the week hasn't been that good for ice at all. Saturday South West wind. Wolf lake anyone???? Oh well good day for some home improvement!
