Wed March 14 Waukegan

I have the day off. Should be warm enough and windy enough. Only question is wind direction. SSW is doable at Waukegan. Going to bring the skim down and ride the beach break. Any takers?
Me = 145lb + 6" + (15M spd3 dlx, 11M x-bow, Kahoona 9.5M, 7.5V2) + Zap skim, home made 133 orange carbon aka Bifrost, home made black 170x50 cabon racing light wind tt, 133 wide tip carbon) + red helmet

I havn't left yet. I'm like 15min from keegs. It's running 220 true right now on the NOA bouy. Thats to much west. I think I'll go down and check it though as it was reading way west last year. Could be acurate though as kenosha is reading the same. After the land finishes warming up and the morning off shore thermal stops it should come around and build from the south.

It is five degrees off shore and light. It is also 75deg out and sunny. I don't even care if it picks up it is a nice day to get a tan at the beach.

Well it was ridable for a little bit but light then it picked back up and went just a bit off shore. Drats. It was a nice day at the beach though.
