Cold water right now ...want a dry suit?

I have a Ocean Rodeo Pyro Meduim.....I'll push it out the door for a mear $150.00
Great condition, only been used several times.
I'm just not a fan of the drysuit.

At any rate...it's cheap, its in good condition and it needs a new home.....buy it...it's a stupid cheap deal.

Also have an older LF Diva with Stiletto strap setup....the ol girl never took to kiting and the board just sits and collects dust...make me an offer, I'm not going below $150.

I'm new to the water, but I've been flying Lei's in the quad cities on land for a bit now. I'd love some help with determining what would be a good purchase on this stuff, seeing as again, I'm a newbie to the water. I've done some wake boarding and that's not a problem at all, but all the land kiting this Spring with an ATB has been fantastic.

How hard is the board to use for a newbie? What is the difference between a drysuit and a wetsuit?

Wetsuits keep you warm by firstly getting wet...ugh...a cold flush then you warm up quickly due to the neoprene, water and body temp all working together.

A dry suit keeps you dry....relatively...no cold flush.

The drysuit has sealed gaskets on your wrists and ankles with a water proof zipper in the back.
Some wear poly pro baselayer underneath due to it's moisture wicking properties...some wear nothing at all and go indidan, but that's kinda cold and clamy feeling...not very nice.

I do the poly pro layer.

Only negative on the dry suit is it fills with air at times making you feel like a stay puff marshmello...all you do is burp it by pulling your neck gasket and letting air escape.

The board....probablly not for you as it is a womens model...girly graphics, but it is a GREAt beginner board with super cushy straps.

I live in Michigan near South Haven. If you go to Ocean Rodeos website you can check out the size info for a Med.

I'm 5'8" and weigh 150 ....fits me great.

If we are both riding in South Haven or you plan to come out to SH contact me and I'll bring it with.
