Stephen and I just made it back to town and it's great to be home! Stephen will only be around town this week and then it's off to the Maldives for him. Having a get together this Wednesday the 16th at Wawazat Mike's place. We'll make homemade pizza in his wood fired pizza oven. Please bring along anything you'd like to drink.

Let's see Amanda & Stephen off the the Maldives properly!! This is open to all kiters & crews, so come one, come all! And if you're new to kiting don't be shy... great opportunity to get off to a flying start with meeting some of our great kiting locals.

Thanks for the fun night! It was great to see the Chicago crew again! Mike the pizza was so delicious as always. Thanks so much for hosting and all the work you did putting it all together, your backyard looks great! Here are a few photos from last night:

Thanx for all that made it out... wouldn't have been a party without you! And who else but a bunch of kiters who, by nature, are willing to drive and throw down at the drop of a hat could have made this come together?! About 20 or so people on a day or two notice, most trekking down South from the North side... and on a school night no less!!

Amanda & Stephen, thank you so much for giving us a reason to par-Tay! Amanda, I especially appreciate you showing up a little early, rolling up your sleeves and helping me get organized... as usual!! The presentation & spread would not have gone down as smoothly without you! And thanx Stephen for your patio umbrella lighting skills, Jason for taking on the 2 hour task of assembling the new patio heater, Amanda and Kimberly for your ingredients prep talents and all others who pitched in! Thanx to all those who arrived bearing offerings and thank you to EVERYONE for the most awesome company!!

Oh and... thanx Amanda for taking the time to snap and post the pix!!

So now that the patio is up & running for the season, we're ready to do some more of these for whatever occasion we might use as an excuse or even after some Southern-end kiting!!
