That was pretty sick, balls of steel.....BUT for travelling riders commin across the pond....DO NOT do this In Michigan please. That kinda stuff will get us shut down quicker than you can pull the trigger. Especially if you don't clear the pier. With that said.....All I can say is wow. What size kite? That had to have felt so cool soaring over the pier. I have dreamed it but don't have the steel to back it up.

I wonder if this should be more of a consideration when trying stunts like this? I sure would hate to not be able to ride close to that pier when the wind is blowing NE and the waves are clean because Sheboygan decides it is to much of a safety concern with Kiters jumping over the Pier.......
Funny I watched this video a week ago and my thoughts were Wow amazing then I thought no helmet? Never thought about the possible ramifications of limits it may put on all of us. Thanks for the insight Eric.
I bet the rider was just having a great day....you know it.....everything dialed in....buddy filming the action....I bet he just thought....I'm going to flipping boost that pier.....split second decision and bam.....he cleared it.....I can totally relate to the stoke. And to pull it off on film is epic....you'll want to keep this one on file....it's stupid sick.
Maybe not the first time the pier has been jumped there and I bet not the last. I will predict that even more will try it now on those days where nobody is looking.
I've seen it in Whitehall back in the day......guys were trying to clear it....jib it...slide it....personally I'd save it for hatteras or the gorge where it is completely acceptable and encouraged to charge it like that....but to do it in a sacred place as she's a blowin...where it is the only savior on those south winds.....to have that taken away due to a cool pier boost gone bad would suck and I bet the locals who live there will be livid if they are shut down right in their own back yard from a traveling rider trying to make a statement on YouTube.
I'm not hating......just being devils advocate.
It was all cool and good and high fives and hugs and kisses when dimitry m was boosting over that house in the Caribbean UNTIL he ate shit on one jump and fully crashed into the house.....game over. All the high fives and hugs turned into a life threatening situation......but he survived.
Just cuz you nail it once doesn't mean you'll nail it twice....and IF you nail it twice.....then shit....you'll have to try just ONE more.....DOH. Didn't make that one.
Killer shot I'll say again.....but yeah I agree with Adrienne on this......maybe not post it next time. The city of shesablowin can also watch this footage.....you are aware of this right? After all it's public domain now.
