If you can proficiently body drag, water relaunch, and do a deep water self-rescue basically IKO 2 skills, then I don't see why you shouldnt enjoy the water today. If you can't, get a lesson for these skills because the lake wont be forgiving and safety is important for you and others around you.

Got out today. You may have seen the orange Best kite waaay downwind. I had no problems working downwind and even got upwind a little bit. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. I hope to meet many more of you!

Pizza? Try Stone Creek in Winthrop Harbor. Great local joint with a colorado cabin feel to it. Good mix of Craft beers and cheap milwaukee porducts.

I was cursed with being on a 12M early on, and a 10M to finish up. Great "first" real session of the year.

It was great seeing everyone again.

FUN with the boyz up in sheboygan.....9m sunny small waves, got a bit gusty as the day went on, but filled in next to shore and quite a day!!!!!!!! Best part of it, hanging with your buddies. Seeing Ben Palmer ripping it up with us was by far the highlight, soooooooo damn nice to see him on the water again.

I dont know how many people could of been at Shebogan cause every kiteboarder in the Midwest was at The Keegs yesterday!! I think someone counted 40 kites in the air at one point.

Yes, it was me that counted 40 in the air! I was making a long run on the outside to the pier head, when I slowed down and counted.
