You sure about that?... it's usually $20 for non-residents at Lake. Now Miller is $6/7 I believe.

Mike what time are you heading to Miller? I am down for an early Morning Session!

MC looks even better. I just hope the wind stays like this and not because of the storm tonight. MC looks really awesome!

If things look good I'll be heading to miller/lake st for a sunrise-noon session. Anyone know if I get there early before the parking nazis are there if I can just park for free?

Forecast shows offshore 'till 10a but let's see what it looks like in the morn.

Be nice to get a text report if you get there early and can; 708.341.0003

No prob, will do. I have work I have to catch up on anyway, so I'm going to get there early and wait/work till it swings onshore if I have to. I'll let you know what it looks like. :D

Miller area was ok, little gusty when I was there, but ok. Contamination advisory for high bacterial levels at lake street beach... Anyway I'm going to wind chase up to MC. :)

It was nice at 8am till bout ten for my likes, unfortunately when I launched for the first time my trim strap ripped and sent the kite flying downwind on the turning lines and it ended up ripping my right bar end off. Bar is trashed :-( guess it pays to have a spare.

When I came to MC at 9:15, the beach was empty and quite windy. Within 30 minutes, there were some 10 riders - but the wind was dying to a point that around 1 pm, there wasn't enough even for big kites and downwind rounds. On the way back, I saw Wolf with kiters and windsurfers, some of them standing still, some of them going quite fast.
The meter shows the wind moved to St. Joe in early afternoon - who'd think, it looks it was dying for good. Weird day, but fun nevertheless

Yup - Miller was great for several hours even though we got there late around 12 (woke up late hehe) - and water was nice and smooth. Maurice, wanted to thank you guys again for retrieving my board. My buddy Stephen who you also met will be around for the summer (ill be back fall) so hope to see you around and maybe coordinate trips! We ended up going up into michigan after it died at miller and found some light steady wind for a little bit before losing it rather quickly. Fun times =].
