Agree! I'll be in S. Haven on Mon/Tue. With S/SSE winds, ususally on North Beach, but my in laws have a house on the South Beach. 3rd house in from public beach. Most likely riding from there...private beach and free parking. Anyone welcome.

We have more newbies now than I've ever seen in my short tenure on here so a little clarification... if you're new and there's a chance of drifting downwind, you're gonna wanna have the pier upwind of you which means you'll wanna be on North Beach on a south and South Beach on a north. That's where most of the kiters 'll be anyway. Also, S/SSE is offshore at da Have... but looks like it will (and usually does on days like these) click SW as it builds for some perfecto side-shore!!

Allrightey then...looks like another SSW blow for several days.......packed and ready, should be some good wind with a few waves scattered here and there. Can u say downwinders? Gonna be nice!!!!!! prob see you at the Haven Mike, looks to be more SSW at bottom with less storm activity.....will keep an eye out for you bill, cruise on over to North Beach, we will have a good crew over there......

Keith, it is absolutely gonna crank in Madison.....small kites will be required. Look up Jens if you make it that way, and stay well off shore, cause it could go ballistic out there!!!!!!!!!!

I'm on my way now with my 7 and 10. I'm not sure which beach is gonna be best, but I figure I'll find the kiters easily enough.

Was gonna work a half day tomorrow but they gave me pretty much the whole day off... Gonna head up around the bend in the AM sometime and enjoy the beach and hopefully some wind....Gonna try to make a day of it! Shooting for St Joe to Holland and anywhere in between...

It came to South HAven, but only after 2pm. It was blowing in the 12M / 10M range when I left after 6 pm. Clean and not gusty.

Hopin' for a repeat tomorrow!! Ended up too sick and too busy to make it today but Jason and I are plannin' to hit it by early afternoon!
