7/8 morning sesh?

Anybody planning on something early, before the wind dies? I would just hate to be the only person on the beach, with what looks like a pretty big lake.

Zion today grew from semi-mellow to serious within an hour or so (between 4 and 5 m, I'd say), and it was quire awesome.
BTW, the Big Air Boys had quite a crowd of spectators there, I believe 50+ at times, when it got too cold to stay on your blanket, and to early to just leave the beach, plus a boring wedding reception at the hotel.

Zion rocked today. My last 20 minutes (just before 5) was the best with the nice waves rolling in. Unless I drawn in my 1 mile Triathlon's swim leg tomorrow early in the morning, I will want to try to go Zion again.

Waukeegs meter still shows it being light 15-18 but there is potential. It was reading 20 earlier...hopefully it fills back in. Got abiout 5hrs yesterday, and ready for more!

Hi all, the forecast at Zion and Michigan city (10 knots) looks lighter than Montrose beach (14 knots).
Where do you recommend to go today? is it still worth it driving to Zion despite the forecast?
How is it at Montrose? Can we avoid the crowd there?

Can't say for sure what Montrose looks like today...it was a total cluster yesterday...took the dog down there...the wind was light but plenty...problem was there was NO room for any kites...I'm gonna guess that with the long streak of hot weather Montrose will be a zoo again today.

Whatever the case...be safe...be respectful of the beach goers...and if you don't have a streamer...go somewhere else
