The downwinder is pretty straight forward. Launch and head south, there is an island and a power plant jetty to sail around towards waukegaan. The crux of the downwinder is that there is no way to walk out to the road if something goes wrong. It a long walk back to zion.
10 mph?

I'm open to anything between Zion and St. Joe tomorrow morning, wherever it will look good.
Did anyone got any action today?

A few of us were at montrose this morning for the before work crowd. Most of us on 12m kites. Wind was almost straight on shore. I left around 7ish and it was starting to come down.

any word on how it is? It felt light last night when it dropped to 16 kts and it is showing 14 kts right now. Hoping it builds back up by the afternoon but I have no idea whats going to happen
