this is looking pretty early fall like now being N to NNW? WOW!!! prolly going to change a bit more but joe will be all time and 7m as of now. Casino will be ultra clean and full on form but extreme side shore/gusty in the break if. Mc harbor (billys) will break like ur in indo and and baldy will be unruly but huuuge.

have to call it that day but take ur pick or sample em all! and for those who only do montrose.. this would b a shame to not venture out to see what goes down here.

got about 15knts on the beach for a bit then down to 12. its on the edge and beautiful out but no go.

Weko on a Mako- came up about 2:30 Eastern time, 12 meter and around 15 knots straight sideshore until the rain hit about 6:00 pm. Rain on the SW horizon slowly moved in, I think that is why it came up- right place, right time, just lucky. (by the way,retirement is underrated)-BG

Mike the TAFs only go out so far. NOAA is calling 15-25kts tomorrow night going 30kts all day Friday. I hope it holds...i'll definitely be out there somewhere...can't miss that.

I was looking at the wind meters all around the lake.

the link was to the radar, not the tafs. rain was moving in.

I was packed and ready to roll.... maybe tomorrow if its not raining.

MC direction looks pretty tough tomorrow for my likes, not to mention just nuking 7m conditions. I will likely head up to St. Joe where its gonna be more side shore and easier to get out, especially behind the pier. If anyone wants to carpool with me lemme know, I will be in Indiana right offa the skyway if anyone wants to go around midday... Drop me a line if you are interested

I came rolling in right when that wind came down. First time skunked this year. I'll be @ Montrose later too if it picks back up. Gotta warm up for tomorrow's nuclear conditions. Is this an arctic blast that's come early?

Agreed #2. Once all this rain junk goes through we should have a clear sky and pumping winds. This IS our first jet stream dip. I guess mid August is about right though. Kites will be everywhere tomorrow. Go where you are most comfortable/safe and then hit up that WIND
