To my Chitown kiter connects:

I have bought a house in Wellington that overlooks one of our main kite beaches and I figured that you guys more than welcome to come crash if you're ever headed this way. The spot works in a Southerly wind and is good for waves and flatwater. The wind season is year round, but the big winds and swells are usually found in the winter (June ~ August) and the Spring (September ~ December) is warmer and consistently windy. I have plenty of storage for gear and it is a 5 minute walk down the hill to the beach. The other spots that work in the other predominat Northerly wind which include: Seatoun, Petone, Titahi Bay, Plimmerton, Waikanae, Foxton, Castle Point and Lake Ferry. Holy windy Welly Helly! Wellington is one of the most ultra windy spots on the planet.

Congrats on the purchase! NZ is one of the few places on my "favorite" list. Ski, hike, bike, surf, scuba, kite, windsurf, dolphin swim....all in one day!
