Grand Haven is an awesome little town. Unfortunately the beach is closed to kiteboarding during the summer. They do allow some kiteboarding in the spring and fall but contact MacKite to get the official "ok to ride" ruling.
http://www.mackiteboarding.com/Ferrysburg (north side of channel) is also a great place to ride on a SW. The beach is pretty small and there are some additional rules that we need to follow to continue to keep this beach open to us. Steve or Aaron at MacKite can give you all the info you need. Check out the KOGL event too.
