I'm sorry, but if this is how you intend to teach lessons, you are certainly going about it the wrong way. I know What many of you think. And I personally disagree. To the best of my knowledge, none of you were out at waukegan beach today, (which besides the chop was docile) So you can only assume that I was being "stupid". That same assumption, however, could have landed me in a completely worse situation. At least adseguy was constructive in his criticism. I appreciate that and his Zion suggestion, even though I received it too late.

Nice pics! You get scary close. If I had known you do sequentials I would busted out a few moves!

To the KOOK who refused to heed Blaise's warnings not to go out with a 13 METER, saying you'd just "edge harder", who then tried to self launch after I refused to launch you, who then proceeded to self launch into a 360 tomahawk slamming the kite into the parking lot, leaving a 50 foot plow trail in the sand just feet away from the wall, who THEN tried to set up again and get a launch from Scotty....congratulations for getting the KOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD.

You saw us all powered up on 7-8M kites in gnarly conditions! You are lucky to be alive or not seriously hurt. Had you launched and got lucky enough to get past the Casino's gusty shadow line with a 13M there wouldn't have been any edging, but rather a teabag, loft, or plain old wipeout straight into the rocks, trees, concrete wall, parking lot or worse yet, the power lines.

Take a step back and learn. Rather than being pissed at us you should be thanking us for not participating in your stubbornness.

My point on the casino bit is that there tends to be gross exaggeration by kiters on this forum. Not everyone, but many. Like When you mentioned that it was 50 kn at Waukegan today. I assure you it was half that. Maybe.

Apology accepted. :-)

kitekid... Did you think about how calling others into your nonsense, to come and save you when in trouble, factors into this? Its light where you have been on the shore because its been OFFSHORE! Outside in the wind, its double that and not to mention where you will end up if you drop ur kite. There are many, who would risk their lives to come save you and so dont put them in that situation because you are not willing to be logical.

Your next comment better be "I understand and want to kite the right beach for the right size kite and wind direction" I cannot accept anything else and then you have our blessing to show how "dangerous" and core of a guy you are by throwing a huge mega loop :D :D

And thank those who have helped you especially at casino where you clearly displayed how dangerous you are to yourself.

REMEMBER...YOU NEED US MORE THAN WE NEED YOU so embrace all the love given here..

I agree with FSP 3 rules I live by when pushing myself in the water 1. Respect the locals and those with more experience.. no matter how much time you've spent onthe water, you will learn something, and if you are humble and ride smart they will have your back , no two places are the same 2. Never be afraid to ditch your gear if your in a bad situation 3. RESPECT Mother Nature

ALso, above all never put others life in danger beacuse of your stupidity/craziness, if you want to risk your life on an empty beach thats your perogative, but don't expect others to risk there live to save you..
