Smallest harness?

Postby grigorib » Tue Dec 18, 2012 1:39 pm

I'm looking for a smallest harness available for a kid. XXS size is too big.
I'm considering maybe making a base seat harness, maybe attaching it to shorts or a waist harness attached to a floatation vest.
Any suggestions?

How tall~old is the kid?The smallest I ever saw was from Epickites

XS= 28-30" [ 71-76cm ] Perfect for 6 to 10 year old kids.

The reason I asked about age,is you mentioned XXS as too big,where XS should be fine for a kid within that age,I dont see how you could get up someone younger than that.

Bob from http://www.kiteridersllc.com/ is carrying Epic brand among others,Im certain he would be able to fill you in.

Seven, tall and skinny. But I've got to measure again and see

22" in waist. Seems that XS is too big...

Yes, you will want a harness to fit snugly on the little guy. A typical Men's XS is good down to only a 26/27" waist. I've had this request before and junior harnesses are hard to come by but alas, I think Mystic US will have a solution for us with the 2013s in Spring. In fact a size L Youth sounds like it would be the ticket and should be a reasonable $100 or so from what I understand from the preliminary info I was able to get. There will be very limited quantities but I'm glad to get one pre-ordered for you if you are interested. Give me a shout if interested and I can give you more details.
