I`ll be heading that way in the am, depending on rain and wind.
Except I`ll probably go to Zion, which receives a north wind a little better than Waukegan, enough northeast and I`d consider Waukegan.
Either one, I`m looking to pump up, it`s been a while.

Zion on a straight north? Never been there might check it out if it really stays north. Hope to see some of you out there tomorrow!

Gonna keep an eye on Casino...NOAA forecast is amazing, but Wind Alert says otherwise. Same setup that did not produce last week. Maybe it will pop... I need a fix.

Stuffed all kites in the car this morning. Doesn't look good so far at all. Maybe there will be a breeze later on the day. Lets hope for it!

Is anyone going to try Montrose or Casino after work? I do not have time to go to Waukegan... May be around 5pm?

Looks like the wind is twitching to nnw and back to north.
I`m leaving for Zion, and if it looks too offshore, I`ll drive up to Kenosha for a look.
Seems the further north you travel, the more favorable the west side of the lake is.
Good luck to everybody.

Montrose was wicked today, lit on my 7M around 2-230 then it slowly came down. From 3-5 the 9M seemed to be everyone's goto. Dishes up some clean waves to before it turned to North. Counted 12 kiters out.

Some 5 of us trickled in during the switch and worth it is all i can think to say. Perfect 35 degree angle to the wave and cracked em so hard was tail first up the line. Everyone handling the strong winds and punchy sections well. When ur blowin tail at casino ur whole next week is going to go real well :D :D :D :D :D The entertainment kept going into the dusk as Paul found silly balls to throwdown some heavy loops. We all needed that one.

Casino delivered yesterday! It was nice seeing 5 other kites in the water, unexpectedly crowded!

Hoping for another session this afternoon a tad further E.
