Was bare minimal. Wish I had the good Ol Skypirate with me. BTW bring your wallet to Keegs, prices went to $20 non residents!

Why not go to Zion and spend the $20 on beer.
The $20 is only weekends and Holidays, at least that was the scam last year.
If you do go to Zion during the summer season, best to avoid the crowds and launch from nature center at the state park.
The walk to beach is similar to Waukegan, but the trail is wood chips for easy walking, and the beach there is really big this year.
Good luck.

It was a good day at Keegs. Took some patience but wind was good. Ill have to check out Zion. If you arrive at Waukegan before 10am you can avoid the fees

You can also park at the metro for cheap. Or in the parking lots by marina for free. Then have someone pick you up, carpool, etc. Also if you have ever served in military just show the card and you will get in free.
