Waukegan was fun yesterday! Injuries happen when you go big. I tried two megalopps yesterday, both fantastically crashed. I kicked the board off way in advance cause I was just too scared when coming back down. My nuts ended up in my mouth on one of them. I'm determined this year though! So sick when they are HUGE! Get better Scotty!!
Did anyone else feels the 60* air over the water then 80*+ when boosting? I felt like I was in another atmosphere.
Maybe that's normal when boosting over 100feet
We totally got lucky at Waukegan, as predicted the corn fields evaporated and created little isolated storms. We just happened to dodge them all. No joke either: We arrive, 30 knots. Mike gets out of the car, 25knots. Mike heads to the beach, 20 knots. Mike pumps up, 15knots. I was about to send him packing
, but then the wind gods gave him a break.
