Guys,

Do you think it's worth going to Zion this weekend???
I'm still leaning to read forecasts and already tired a bit of waste travelling between the spots.

Alex.

I'm planning on being at Zion around noon on Sunday as its looking now (to avoid the parking charge at Keegs). Worst case scenario, I'm fine with a lazy Sunday on the beach. :D

Hey Alex, think we have met in Keegs last Sunday..N/NNE/NE would be your starting point and only good wind direction for Zion,Keegs.Keegs is great on NE and really easy to make call on it even on weak forecats. On N/NNE wind gets quite funky and much weaker there, will be eye opener if you'll try to ride Zion same day, clean, stronger wind.

Should be some low 20s tmr,but keep a eye on those storm,Sunday looks very good mid/high 20s 9m weather hopefully, gonna run downwinders.

Hope this helps,

Ivo

The money grabber is not there till 10:00, so if you go to Keegs on the week ends get there around 9:45 and just drive right in. I have been doing that for years. :D

Thanks for the power slashes Ivo....provides fuel for the recovery.

Glad to hear your annual pilgrimage to Mecca for the 4th of July is lining-up; true Americana. Find a good artist and I will pay for the stars and strips tat on your bicep. 8)

IVO - 40, huh? Well.. that would explain why I felt overpowered on my 12m! I think I was upwind along the beach from the group.
