Montrose Beach? Too Lazy to go to Zion

Postby GC1 » Thu Jul 18, 2013 11:57 am

Hi there,

Does anybody know when the season starts in Montrose Beach? I recently moved to downtown Chicago and haven't seen any decent wind there.

Thanks

We just hit the worst part of the year for Montrose. To crowded unless its raining or cold. I went to the dog park there last weekend and by 10am on Sunday it was hard to find a parking spot, its a zoo every nice weekend.

Also, You need to be IKO or PASA certified to ride there. See link below for more information...

Yeah way too many swimmers at montrose now. Main beaches are waukegan or Indiana beaches. Message Skysurfer for more info about montrose rules if you are new to the area. Stay safe.

Thanks guys for the reply.

I'm a good kiter and have no problems with the levels asked at Montrose Beach..... Unfortunately, I don't have those certifications. Does anybody know any IKO/PASA school around here that can provide the certifications?

Thanks
