I will be new to kiteboarding and am looking for new equipment. I have exp flying 2 & 4 line for some years. Is there a package deal that includes everything and a lesson. Thanks.

Hi Mikey,
Yes, we can put something together for you. What is your body weight and waist size? Your weight will determine your first kite.
Have you seen the equipment at the
KiteShop?

Yeah, i saw the kiteshop. My waist is 35 and i'm weighing in @ 190. The fuel kite seems to be all the rage around here.

The biggest difference while you are flying them is the way they handle gusts and how stable they are in the air. I had a chance to ride the two the other day and noticed quite a difference. The 2003 seem to fly farther upwind in a gust, but the 2002 seem to just pull harder. This makes it much easier to ride upwind and easier to stay in control in higher winds. This is not to say the 2002's aren't real nice. My best rides ever were on a 16m 2002.

for 2002 vs 2003 Slingshot Fuel, I'd say the 2003 big kites turn a lot faster, which makes it more fun to jump, etc. There was a big jump in performance for most major kite brands from 2002 to 2003.
