Hi all, wanted to get your attention…and yes, a kiter does need help :D Some of you may know Alex Soto. He has been a mainstay in the Cabarete/Dominican Republic kite scene for many years. He is SUPER talented, but way low on funds and WAY to humble to ask. Knowing that he wants to compete in the OL...

Re: Exuma, Bahamas Kite trip?

We have a kite trip from February 20th-March 4th. The house is an amazing house with its own marina and Boat to do Moriah Cay and other excursions and offshore kite trips. If you cannot do the full 2 weeks, the last 7 nights (26th-4th) would be prefect. Need to know ASAP. Round trip tickets right no...

If so, comment here (maybe message me your info) and I will get back to you. Thanks.

Wind in Barbados in August?

Hi all, was hoping someone may have been (or lives) in Barbados during August. It appears that the windy season dies around the beginning of July. Will be heading there for a few weeks (been there many times, but never in August), and am wondering if I should even bother bringing gear. What say you ...

OBX April 27th-May 4th...anyone interested?

heading down during those dates! Yay!! Anyone interested in getting a house? Best deals I've seen were for 4 and 5 bedrooms, which will come to less than $200/room.

Let me know if interested!

Core Kite Stopper Ball

Hey all, I have been trying for some time to get my hands on a stopper ball for the Core Sensor bars. Core used to make them years ago and now wont because they consider it a liability. I have tried making my own (unsuccessful). Does anyone have a stopper ball, or the technical know-how to make one?...

Re: Flat water spots near Waukegan? Water temp?

Thanks guys for response. I thought I went thoroughly through the "where to kite" section. I didnt really see a flat water description, but was guessing that when it described a spot for beginners, there would be flat water. Thanks for the info (between the piers). I am not used to cold water, so 6/...

Flat water spots near Waukegan? Water temp?

Hi all, not a local, but taking a trip to Waukegan July 7th-10th. Was wondering is anyone would be so kind to point me in any direction where there may be flat water and kiting allowed. Would a 4/3 or 6/5/4 wetsuit work best right now? Anyone feel like joining me:)? I land in Waukegan airport. Todd
