Aquaseal is a decent product for repairing small tears 3" or less. If you use cheaper products they have a tendency to yellow and not last. Thats interesting lift dynamics. Does gradually pulling in the 5th eliminate the exposure of the underside of the canopy to lift effects? Does the kite settle in the water/beach on edge and luff? What is the config of the kite in this protracted 5th line position?
