Ah ha! Appears that some folks have found one of our little slices of heaven. Love that place to death. That's all I'm gonna say. Gotta love the fog machine. It cleared later in the day didn't it? That place is like fight club, and the first rule is NEVER talk about fight club. You guys had a pretty...

Unreal! Great photos of a killer looking session. I can't believe the heights that you boys are going on cement...oh wait I mean ice. And throwing in rotations too....just plain ILL. They grow em big in Madtown that's for sure. Every kiter I've ridden with from Madtown is usually 20-30 feet in the a...

I am thinking that we'll get out for some rides around the end of March to Middle of April. Last year we were out the third week of April in South Haven. It really depends on where you choose to ride, some beaches are more socked in with ice than others. South Haven clears up pretty quickly. so yeah...

The Phatty or Barn door would kill. Those are the coveted boards when it gets stupid light. I have been on the barn door with a 12m fully ripping when the flags are hardly fluttering....but I weigh about as much as potato chip. All of our big guys ride those board here and the smaller guys use them ...

Ice Picks

Another tip for snowkiting on ice is to either buy or manufacture a set of ice picks that you can have ready if you do go in for a swim. I have a set that we made at a Mackite demo day....I have them in my outer pocket on my bibs...I can grab em and get them open quickly if I need to claw my way out...

Please watch this....It will save your LIFE.

Snowkite season on SAFE ice is about 3-4 weeks away. In the meantime, watch this....it will save your ass when and if you go in.....I have gone in...to my waist and it is scary and extremelly shocking...especially locked into my bindings on my snowboard...with all my outerwear on...think about it......

I was at Ferrysburg that day and witnessed one of the tacos. Very windy day. 30kts plus. Wind going onshore a bit. We had just landed and were chilling upwind next to the pier. Rider on an 8m Switchblade, walking kite in from water to land it, big gust, and all of a sudden WHAM...wierd inversion bow...

Cool topic. Wsurf Mag did an article with us over here in MI around 2000. They were drawn to MI because of the unreal wind powered readings that they discovered. Tom James and Eric Sanford came out from Hood River with sailboards and kites (old sketchy kites) and scored huge while they were here. I ...

Hey Bill, It was great to meet you yesterday. We all shared a full day on the water for sure! You'll have to come down again soon...and maybe lets pay your buddy from oaklahoma a visit :) As always it's great to see Dickie and West. I haven't seen those boys since last fall, so I was stoked to be ab...
