In the event that I don't have enough information to fill in all the bubbles (I'll exclude parking in this because rates change so often), I'd rather not put it into the map. That's why I don't like prospective spots; All we need is to have me guessing that a spot is good based solely on google maps, and then someone getting hurt because I didn't tell them about boulders in the water... or something along those lines. I mean, crazy stuff can happen, but if I can, I like to be able to include things like wind shadows and rocks and trees.
Unfortunately, tacos have little to do with kiting. I've put in two breweries on the Great Lakes Map, and I can include more with the different little icons (which is super nice btw), but including that info with the kite spots isn't necessary to the kiting. It's nice, but in my opinion detracts from the utility of the kite spot map. Having it separate allows a kiter to plan for it if they're looking for a drink... but doesn't make it integral to the spot.
Simple, concise, pleasant to view, and organized is what I'm going for. Again, there are some spots that have more information than others and details about e.g. swells and debris... and in an orderly fashion, but I only have that information if someone sent it to me.
I realize that many Chicagoland kiters don't have tremendous interest in Lake Erie kiting spots, but the point is to be a resource for kiters in the entire area and my personal goal is to encourage forum discussion about spots in the entire area as well.
