Kitesurfing Destination for Beginners

Post by bcruz »

Hey guys, I'm planning to take a group of people that are all interested in learning to Kitesurf next week. It needs to be reasonably close to the US. Mexico, Bahamas, Turks, etc. would all be close enough. I know there's a great place in Turks and Caicos for beginners. Does anyone have any other suggestions? There are a couple guys that know how to ride, but 6 or 7 beginners, so we need equipment rentals, instructors, etc. It would be a bonus if there's additional stuff to do while there.

Thanks!

good to see you back! SPI would have probably been a good choice considering the instruction.

We ended up going skiing. Gonna take the group somewhere in a month or two.

was in Puerto rico kiting in San Juan and surfing in Ricon recently. Lots of instructors and good wind/waves. FYI
