I'm pretty much the same height and weight as you. I got a 17m but in all reality its kind of a big kite to handle for your first setup. a 12 or 13 is nice but there will be plenty of times it won't get you going.

If i were to be in your place I'd most likely buy a 15m...that is after I took lessons if I hadn't already :)

good luck

hey none...depending on the size kite you pick, i may have some for sale that would fit the bill. i have a kiteschool and it's time to sell most of my kites. all are in excellent condition. For your size and ability and for this time of year and spring winds, I'd go mid range size. 10m-15m.

All 2005 kites...complete with bar and lines.

13m Slingshot fuel - retail is $1360...sell for $680
13m Slingshot diesel - retail is $1160...sell for $580
12m Cabrinha CO2 - retail is $1402...sell for $690
8m Cabrinha CO2 (new) - retail is 1250...sell for $600

Also have a 15m fuel and 9m fuel, but will probably hold on to those for a while unless the price is right.

hope this helps.

I'd say a good two kite quiver would be a 16m for light winds 12-16mph and a 12m for 16-22mph. jmho.
