Waukegan Incident

Post by cp2616 » Sun Sep 30, 2007 7:31 pm

I saw someone get lofted into a pwc at Waukegan today. I was a back a bit and have no medical training, so I stayed back while the paramedics came.

The first thing I saw was the guy about 10 feet in the air moving very fast over the beach so I don't know the cause. I left before the ambulance did, but I hope everyone is alright.

PWC = Personal Watercraft
It was a two or three man sit down style beached in the middle of all the kiteboarders.

I helped the guy out, my guess was a possible broken femur. I think he was new. Didnt see it happen though. The jetskis were all over the place today. I thought i was gonna get hit once or twice.

hmmmmmm,

not good...

hope the dude is ok.

but shouldnt of happend.

the winds on a south are gusty and have a lot of holes in them.

peps should aways be aware of whats downwind of them, especially in this kind of wind.

and always stay downwind of whatever it may be that will be the winner of a joust.

i wasnt there

and im not rippin anyone just my 2 cents.
