Chicago kitesurfing meeting / fly and try!

Post by Dutchkiteboarder » Wed Oct 27, 2010 11:03 am

So people are getting back from OBX and the wind is hauling over land and lake. West became famous and other people are just Rockin and Rollin'!

As Halloween comes this weekend I wanna wish every one a good Halloween weekend.

BUT dear forum friend, I still wanna give it one more try before its getting really cold and we having snowboards instead of kiteboards under our feet!

So write it down in your agenda now:
CHICAGO KITESURFING MEETING NOVEMBER 6 OR 7 (Sat or Sun).
Location: Will be presented 2 days in advanced if there is any wind that weekend.

Other: If there will be no wind at all that weekend NO WORRIES the meeting will still happen but at some other place. Maybe a big field and bring out the buggies, landboard etc (Montrose beach maybe Skysurfer are we allowed????). People with small grills please bring! SO WIND OR NO WIND THE MEETING IS ON!

Ill throw in a contest now to keep the spirit going. The 3 winners will receive this DVD:

Where does the name F.One come from?

Post underneath this message and again the first 3 will receive this cool DVD!

that's easy...

when Naish produces kites for testing, and they aren't good enough to wear the name NAISH on them... they are stamped "F-ONE", for Flunked the first test (1), and then thrown away.

apparently someone is taking them out of the trash bin and selling them?

I'm guessing there is only one right answer, but you are offering the DVD to the first three correct responders...

So I'll jump on the bandwagon and say "France 1".

Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Should be a great opportunity to chat in person about Montrose.

Ordered new land/snow kites for the event. Ozone 2011 6m Access and 8m Manta on the way. Still have 2010 and 2009 4m Accesses and lots of inflatables to play with! Ozone C4s in lots of sizes and a light-wind Zephyr will be available to fly. Everything for sale at awesome prices too!

Kite Buggies and Land Boards for demos and sale too. Should be a super fun event on and off the water!

Hope to meet and see lots of old and new faces, try lots of gear and have tons of fun! Hopefully we can be productive with Montrose issues too. Excited for an awesome event!

Happy Kiting!

Looking forward to the meet. My little girls birthday party is this next weekend so hopefully it will be the other day that is not marked on the calender. And I have a pinched nerve in my hand so I probably will not kite but plan on being there anyways.
